It is hard to get into a workout routine. For me it is difficult because both the physical strain and the emotional will to get up and go. It is key to overcome the battle of will. This is why being overweight is very often a sign of the sin selfishness, lack of control, discipline...etc. because it is all about what I want at that time. We do not stop to think (or at least I don't) about the result of not exercising compared to the result of working out. My knees, ankles, and my feet hurt. It is key to start with low impact aerobics. walking is a great exercise. I must remember that No pain = No Gain! So time to go feel the pain...
UPDATE!!! - As I stepped on the scale yesterday I was hopeful for a weight loss. It didn't happen, I stayed the same at 367.5 and still needing to lose 7.5 pounds by Sunday. While this goal may look out of reach this week, I will be able to catch up next week. I will simply try to get back on track after being in Arkansas. Bring on the FOCUS!!! Yesterday I ate 5 pieces of pizza, 5 cheese sticks, and for supper I ate a southwestern salad from Wal-mart. Tasted GREAT!
GOALS!!!! - My goals for the rest of this week is:
- Do not eat past 6:00 p.m.
- Do not eat ANY seconds - including cleaning the kids plates
- Drink ALL my water (approx. 1 gal.)
- Exercise Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
