Vegetarian

Gen. 1:29 And God said , Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Man did not always eat beef, venison, pork, or any meat for that matter. This all came about because of sin - the wages of sin is death. Adam and Eve were placed in the garden of Eden and was told that they could eat any herb bearing seed, and fruit from any tree to eat. Originally man was created as vegetarians. Man sinned as a result a lamb was killed - the 1st physical death as a result of sin. After that man began to eat meat. I am not saying that it is wrong or a sin to eat meat I am only pointing to what man ate in the very beginning, and what we will eat in the end.

Fruit and vegetables are very important to health, because that is originally what we were meant to eat. We need to make sure we incorporate these into our diets. This is  something I will need to try to do as well. I am still preparing for my 30 day test of the paleo diet that one of my readers told me about. I looked up the diet in more detail. It looks pretty interesting. The only concern I have is that the whole diet is based off evolutionary concepts. I am looking forward to trying this diet. Then after that I will either still with it or I may try a diet based on the Old Testament law that God gave to Israel, just to see what happens. We will see. I can't wait to get this new diet started. It should be interesting.

UPDATE!!!

Just call me the world's largest yo-yo. I gain then I lose, I gain then I lose, etc. As I stepped on the scale yesterday I weighed in at 367. Yes this is a loss of 1 pound and a half.  I can't remember what all I ate. For some reason I didn't write them down. I will try to remember to do that from here on out. I have tried to send pictures to my blog, but for some reason I can't get them to go through. Right now I can't even send pictures to Facebook. I will keep trying to figure this out.
