UPDATE!!!
I stepped on the scale and was delighted to see that I had lost 1/5 a pound. I went from 367.5 to 367. I am now 9 pounds from my goal this week. I did not exercise, I ate my kids left overs, and I had seconds. I think I will simply try to do one thing at a time... I will not eat any of my kids left overs. There it is, I know this can be done. It's a small step in the right direction.I received a message from one of my blog readers, that basically laid it all out there for me. He made one clear observation. I have not gotten very far in my war on weight. He is absolutely correct. He then continued to offer me a diet plan to try for 30 days. It will take discipline, hard work, and focus. I wrote him back and told him that I would take him up on this diet plan. We'll see what happens. I will try to start this new plan Monday. Oh yeah I will be keeping you all updated. It may be a great way to give me a boost in my efforts to lose weight. Here's the plan laid out for me:
You can eat: lean meats, veggies, eggs, legumes, a little bit of nuts (almonds and walnuts), and a little bit of fruit (preferably after exercise)
You can't eat: grains, cereals, breads, starches, dairy, or any kind of processed sugar (anything besides fruit that has sugar in it)
