The BIG Weigh-In Month 2 Week 2

James 5:16 - "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed . The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

I began this week excited and even looking forward to today. I had a plan to work the slim fast system. I did not exercise as I should. I could give you excuses and make them sound good, but they are excuses and that's it. I had reached down to 373 at one point last week. Yesterday I went on a church activity where we walked and walked and walked. We walked at least two miles. After everyone left I took the family out to eat at Wendy's where I lost control and had a double cheeseburger large fry, and 2 large cokes - yea, I said two, I got a refill.

As I stepped on the scale today wondering what it would say, I was a little nervous, but soon the nervousness gave way to mixed feelings. As I looked down I saw that I had indeed lost weight, this is always good, but I noticed that I weighed 377.6 which is only a loss of 1.6 lbs. I should probably be enthusiastic, but I am a little disappointed in myself. I should have exercised more, which I plan on doing this week. I will not be doing slim fast this week it was only a warm up for the Curves diet. It is a six to seven week diet that while I lived in Arkansas helped me lose 30 pounds in six weeks. My goal is to get down to 323 by the Monday AFTER Thanksgiving. This gives me a total of 7 weeks to reach that goal. I am currently 54.6 pounds from that goal. In order for me to reach that goal I will need to average a 7.8 pound loss a week! The first week of this curves diet significantly cuts my calorie intake to 1200 a day, so I should lose quite bit this week. After this week I can go up 400 calories so I will get 1600 calories a day. They are broken up into, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, supper. I am focused and will lose the weight needed. I will be jumping for joy once I get below 373. I have not been below 373 in a VERY long time and I can't seem to get below that weight. By the next weigh - in I will be below 373.
